Friday was a terrific day in the shop at The Quilted Kitty! I was busy working around the shop and thinking about the class I was going to take the next day! I signed up for a class with Mark Lapinski, the editor, owner, quilting stud extraordinaire of the Quilter's Home magazine fame, when all of a sudden who walks in, Mark Lapinski!!! I was so excited I forgot about my poor customer for a minute and just stood there with my mouth hanging open! I had emailed him to let him know I was going to take his class and asked if you would like to visit my shop after class! I never expected him to come in the day before! What a terrific time we had and what a wonderful guy he is. His energy alone can keep you motivated for hours at a time! We laughed, talked, hugged and laughed some more. If you ever have an opportunity to take one of his classes, don't miss out, you will never forget the experience!
